Missibaba is a Cape Town based accessory design company established in 2005 by designer Chloe Townsend. After studying at the London College of Fashion, Chloe returned to her native surroundings.
Missibaba is all about a love affair with leather – it’s smell, maleability, depth of colour and texture have all been the underlying elements in Chloe's distinctive design, be it pleated, hand painted, punched out, cut out or stitched. Fusing her solid practical training and her playful work ethic, Chloe’s designs allow for more freedom with colour and texture experimentation in a traditional craft field |
